Travel and Leisure, an international tourism and travel publication, recently distinguished two Costa Rican hotels: Lapa Ríos located in the Osa Peninsula and the Four Seasons Resort of Guanacaste, amongst the top 25 hotels of the Mexico, Central and South American region. Such distinction is noted in the August issue of Travel and Leisure in its “World’s Best” article which the magazine has published for the past 12 years. The Four Seasons Resort in Papagayo holds the eighth position. It is the second time that this magazine has recognized the hotel in the same category (having previously obtained the 5th position). Lapa Ríos boasts an 11th place and it is the first time that it appears in this publication. (La Nación, August 28, 2007, Economía)
