Just as it has
with many visitors,
the Guanacaste region
caught the attention
of Spanish hotelier
and visionary Don
Gabriel Escarrer.
Don Gabriel was
taken with the colors
and beauty of the
region and, in particular,
of Playa Conchal.
Soon after his visit,
he joined forces
with two other visionaries
and business leaders
from Cervecería
Costa Rica and Colombian
Group Bavaria. Together,
these accomplished
businessmen acquired
2300 acres of pristine
land alongside Reserve Conchal
Beach in Cabo Velas.
Their goal: to create an exclusive beach, golf and equestrian resort community
growing in harmony with its natural surroundings. With sustainability in mind,
they decided to develop slowly over time, beginning with a deluxe, five-star
resort hotel and an 18-hole championship golf course. Soon, their dream became
the dream of others and visitors wanted to call Reserve Conchal home. To meet
this demand, the 62-home
Bouganvillea Condominiums were developed in a stylish Colonial
architecture to complement the natural landscape. Exceeding all expectations of
comfort, luxury, security and style, these homes set the standards for
single-family developments and increased the demand for the Reserva Conchal
lifestyle and homeownership.
Selling 65% of Phase I and II in pre-sales and the remaining 35% within one
year Reserve Conchal has proven itself to be a highly sought after, secure,
lifestyle investment; confirming these accomplishments selling more than 70% of
Phase III in presales. As it moves into the future with its environmentally
conscientious development plans, Reserve Conchal is appealing to a number of
visitors seeking primary and secondary homes.
From the beginning, Reserve Conchal has operated under three basic goals:
|
| • |
 |
Offer a product of the highest quality |
| • |
|
Maintain the integrity of its environment |
| • |
|
Contribute to improve the quality of life of its neighbors |
|
|
| To date, Reserve Conchal has generated around 500 permanent jobs, a number that
will increase to 2,500 to 3,000 by the project's completion. Not to mention
those temporary jobs generated by construction of each new stage. |
